Dogs

A maximum of 2 well behaved dogs are welcome in caravans and camping tents. Dogs must be on leads at all times. Dogs are not permitted for pods or bell tent bookings.

1 dog is included in the tent pitch and caravan pitch price, a second dog can be added as an optional extra.

Fouling on the site is not permitted and owners are expected to clear up after their pets. 

The site does not accept breeds/crossbreeds listed in the Dangerous Dogs Act (i.e. Pit Bull Terrier, Japanese Tosa, Dogo Argentino, and Fila Brasileiro).

Arrival/Departure

Arrival is between 3pm and 8pm. Please contact the site to arrange arrival after 8pm.

Late arrivals must notify the site as soon as possible. Your booking will be held for 24 hours. After this period the management reserves the right to relet your unit.

Departure is 10.30

Late check out of 12.00pm/midday can be arranged and added as an optional extra.

Cancellation Policy

Bookings can be amended, moved or cancelled up to 14 days before arrival.

Deposits are non refundable but bookings can be moved in line with our policies.

No refunds/discounts for inclement weather, late arrivals or early departures.

The site is not liable for any refunds/discounts in the event of force majeure.

The site reserves the right to cancel bookings for reasons deemed necessary by the management. Any refunds will be subject to a 10% administration charge (£10 minimum).

If you need to cancel or amend your booking, please give as much notice as possible so that someone else has the chance to book. You may wish to buy holiday insurance for cancellations and for your property/injury whilst away.

Payment

A 20% non-refundable deposit is payable on booking. The balance is due 2 weeks before arrival, or if the arrival date is sooner than 2 weeks then the balance will be due immediately.

You can also opt to pay the full amount at the time of your booking, or at any point before the due date.

Quiet time

We like everyone to have a relaxing time. Quiet time is between 9.30pm and 8am.  

Radio, music and TV players must be kept at a low volume. Car doors and boots must be closed quietly.

Admission & occupancy

  • At least one of the party members must be aged 18 or over.

  • Under 18s must be accompanied by their parents or legal guardians.

  • Group bookings are not permitted (couples and immediate family members excepted).

  • Bookings of 3 or more units or pitches should contact the site for details of exclusive use.

  • You must follow the management directives when pitching your tent/unit and related equipment.

  • The site does not accept bookings for hen/stag parties.

  • Bookings are non-transferable.

  • Bookings must not be for more than 14 consecutive nights.

Vehicles

  • Commercial vehicles (vehicles used for work-related purposes, carrying goods or fare-paying passengers) and sign-written vehicles are not permitted on site.

  • Loading and unloading is permitted for Pods, Bell tents and camping tents, but at all other times vehicles must part in the designated area.

  • One car is permitted to park next to caravans.

  • The car is only included in the rate if you are travelling with a touring caravan or a tent. If you wish to bring a car along with your motorhome/campervan please select the extra.

Visitors & extra guests

Visitors and extra guests are permitted only with prior agreement and may be subject to an extra charge.

Safety

  • Barbecues are permitted but must be raised off the ground and attended by an adult at all times.

  • The site reserves the right to not allow barbeques and firepits during extreme weather (e.g. heatwaves) where there is a risk of fires. No refunds/discounts will be available for these circumstances.

  • Firearms are not permitted.

  • Kites are not permitted on site due to nearby powerlines.

  • Guests are advised to bring a good quality torch with them as parts of the site are unlit.

  • Children should be supervised at all times. 

Smoking

Smoking/vaping is not permitted in pods, bell tents or communal areas of the site.

Farm animals

To protect the wellbeing of the animals in adjacent fields, please do not feed them or open any gates into other fields.
